WELCOME!
SWEET THE SOUND is a musical project dedicated to finding, making, performing, and recording American folk, gospel, blues, country, bluegrass, "old time," shape note, spirituals, and other forms of American sacred music.
The hope is that this music might spiritually inspire those who hear it, and provide some new ideas about what American sacred music is and can be.
RECENT AND UPCOMING CONCERTS:
Several members of Sweet the Sound will be gathering to perform two concerts this December: Friday, December 4, 7:00 pm at the Congregational Church of West Medford (www.medfordchurch.org), and Saturday, December 19, 4:00 pm at Central Congregational/Hope Church (www.hopeboston.org).
